Das Highlight der heutigen Presseveranstaltung von HTC wird das HTC Desire sein, welches in den letzten Wochen schon unter dem Codenamen HTC Bravo immer mal wieder durch die Medien ging. Das Android-Smartphone wird voraussichtlich das Android-Flaggschiff von HTC für das Jahr 2010 sein und ist dem Google Nexus One bei genauer Betrachtung doch sehr ähnlich. Neben einem 3,7” großen WVGA Amoled-Touchscreen kommt das HTC Desire mit einer 5 Megapixel Kamera daher und ein 1 Ghz Prozessor in Kombination mit 576 MB Ram sollen für die nötige Leistung im OS sorgen. Der Vorteil des HTC Desire liegt also bei der HTC Sense Oberfläche, wohingegen beim Google Nexus One der direkte Support und die Updates von Google eine wichtige Rolle spielen dürfte, wir sind auf die ersten Testberichte von beiden Smartphones und vor allem auf den Erfolg in diesem Jahr gespannt. Wie beim HTC Legend gibt es die Liste der Spezifikationen nach dem Break, vorgestellt wird auch dieses Smartphone vermutlich um 10 Uhr auf der HTC Pressekonferenz in Barcelona.
